  • I am sorry I mentioned the two structures. lol I'd only mentioned them to say that I think that they'd unfortunately not been well maintained enough to make saving them worth the cost/trouble. This north end area has plenty of old houses, some maintained well and some not. One never likes to see a building falling into disrepair, but these are certainly not irreplaceable-level old structures.
  • I was sort of thinking about what could be done with a house like this one, as you say there are many of them in the neighborhood. I was not advocating for these two to be restored. Homes of that age are becoming rarer here, and Lansing tends to knock things down whether they have any historic value or not. Our historic neighborhoods are an underappreciated treasure that are worth investing in. Thanks for the conversation, I do like to dream about what I would do with this sort of project.
