  • It's disappointing that such a prime spot of real estate got such a small building, but it is still better than the parking lot that it replaced.
  • Nice progress, I haven't been able to get by there for a couple weeks now.
  • Here are two shots of the building when viewed from a couple blocks away

  • Just FYI, I was by the building yesterday and they had just started to put up a little brick on the Kalamazoo St side.
  • Some pictures I took today:

  • It may not be as large as some people would like but its not bad either. Like Jared said quite a while back, its better than the parking lot it replaced. It can still look pretty imposing from the street level and if it looks anything like the renderings when finished I think it'll be pretty good when complete.
  • I know, theres no mention of it on Clark's site, Granger Group's site, MSP's site or anywhere else. It's stupid.

LSJ article states this project is ahead of schedule...they hope to have the exterior done by winter and then start on interior work.
  • Does anyone know that in the areas around the CSO construction like around Michigan Ave. and Grand Ave. (such as seen in some of these pictures) if the black asphalt put in between the streets and the sidewalk is temporary or permanent? Are they planning on replacing it with concrete when the construction is done? Cause I think the asphalt looks bad.

Yeah it's usually temporary. Most places where I see the asphalt, they rip it out after the construction and replace it with bricks. They did that for the rain garden project along Michigan Ave.
