And if I was in any kind of position to buy a place I would almost definately be trying to get in here. In fact, if there are no more high rise condos built in Lansing over the next five or so years I'll probably end up in this building. Also, I …

I had no idea that the rennovation of these storefronts was as extensive as it is: Nakfoor Putting $1.2 Million Into New Washington Square Lofts They spent $1.2 million on this little project. I also had no idea that they added a third floor. Now…

As for the economy, I know it's bad, but I think that Lansing will weather any reccession quite well. We have a diverse economy and a strong demand for downtown housing. I really like a lot of the things I see with this project. It is going to ha…

I've had problems trying to find old photos of this area, but I still need to look at the CADL's collection of historic photos. Looking at fire maps though, there were quite a few rowhouses, low rise apartments and pretty large houses in the area th…

They look pretty nice, I like the green roof on part of the Parking ramp.

I'm not sure if Gillespie has tenants lined up, but he should be doing a highy quality rennovation since he is able to apply for tax breaks. I wish he would add a second floor though. As for clems, I really like the new facade I just hope that th…

Just a few updates on a couple of small projects: "Zanders Old Town Brewery" They plan on completely remodling the building, and adding a taproom. I don't beleive this is supposed to be like a microbrewery with a resturaunt and everything, thoug…

I'm really glad they finally got this for Lansing. It will make it a lot easier for me to render things right in Sketchup and visualize an area without having to drive through it.

There isn't link off the city's site, you sign up for them to send it to you in an email: Agenda Packets

Just fyi, the city council agenda packet for this week sheds a little more light on this project (the figures are for the 12 floor version). The cost will be $22.5 million, and it will be 110,000 sq ft (85,000 residential, 25,000 commercial.) Lmich …

I think this should be fenced in and I think it would help the park. I'm not talking about chain link or anything, more like a 6-8 foot tall version of the new fence over at Mt Hope Cemetary, with plenty of gates to allow people to easily access the…

I think this is an extremely important site because it is kitty-corner to Reutter Park. Eventually that park will be surrounded by decent sized buildings, giving it the potential to be a showcase urban park. Also, the YMCA prperty could very well be…

I hope they use this opprotunity to remodel the whole park. It seems to me that in order to make this usable for events they would also have to put up a permanent fence around the park.

I was looking at the council agenda packet for this week and there is a letter from the developer to the city. It is a notice of intent to establish a condominium project, allowing them to start taking reservations (It also states that Wolvorine Bui…

In the Greater Lansing Business Monthly, in July I think, it said that Harry Hepler (MotorWheel Lofts) was working on developing this site. He seems to do high quality stuff, I can;t wait to see what they come up with for the site.

They said they have not decided on a design yet. But I wouldn't want to see anything looking like that. I would want to either see a basic stage built like the one proposed, or something modern, steel, glass and concrete.

I heard awhile back from someone on here that Buffalo Wild Wings was supposed to be moving next door to the Nuthouse, where the small Oldsobile Museum was. I noticed yesterday that paper had been put up in the windows, I drive by there almost every …
