I was by there and I didn't see any demolition. There were some windows open on the second floor that I think were closed before. The only thing I can guess is that they are prepping for demolition or doing some sort of abatement.

I like the idea of putting their offices there, the current offices are in disrepair and that land would be much more valuable.

I really like the entrance to Durant Park, I wish there were more things like that around Lansing.

I was more talking about businesses leaving in general, even though that trend is beginning to reverse. It seems most of the small offices of all types have been lost to suburban office parks, it's slowed some since the 80's and 90's though.

Deal reached on Old Town's Temple Club This is good news, they said that they expect to turn it into office space and renovations are to be done by early 2010.

I'm sure the major transportation system would be BRT or light rail. I hope this goes through, if he can't get the full $110m hopefully he focuses on that new transit line instead of buses.
