I hear a lot about "visions," but we haven't seen any siteplans, or specifics on this project. It sounds like this thing may take while to go anywhere.

The rivertrail is definately worth checking out more. It's a great walk not matter which part of it your talking about, but the leg that travels east from downtown, by Potter Park and to MSU is the nicest, you should check it out if you get a chance.

I too have always wondered why they keep power lines, or any other wires, hanging from telephone poles. I know that eventually all lines will be buried, but when, in 100 years? This is something that should be done along with CSO work if you ask me.

They lease temporary space on the 3rd & 4th floors, maybe the 2nd also. The security concern thing is something of a joke, but MSP has the ball in their court.

I was thinking the same thing, although even if it closes in 2025 it will be awhile before anything gets tore down, if ever.

Welcome thecommish! I never really went t, or even noticed that store but I've been hearing people talk about it closing. It sucks that it closed but the little bookstores can't make it anymore, even the community newscenter in Frandor is closing.

I really hope that they move into Lansing somewhere, or that they at least build a significant building. This sounds like a great thing, but I guess I'll hold judgement until more info is released.
