  • A pan of the Stadium District from the park at the sites rear: Site prep appears to be well underway, now that there is equipment onsite I would expect the project to begin to move forward at a steady pace.
  • A picture of the Mercantile Bank building, the exterior is nearly finished (not really the best angle):
  • A panorama, one of the buildings with Ground floor commercial is nearing completion and another regular apartment building is going up:
  • A picture of the site looking Northwest from the Captiol Ramp today:
  • There is now a web cam looking towards the University Center: Live Web Cam
  • Where did you find that at? I can't seem to find any real detailed info on the site. I heard some rumors about MSU investigating "alternative transportation" as an option, but it was just that, a rumor. I'm not even sure of the source, but if MSU…
  • Jared, I seen an article in the State News that talks about an MSU Construction Master Plan. I was wondering if you had any idea on how to get a copy/download of this, since you seem to have some connection with the State News.
  • I looked in while driving down Cedar today, and site prep has begun. It looks like they have removed the curbs and have started removing the asphalt. It looked like they had already ground all the pavement down.
  • Thats good to hear, keep us updated as to when the construction actually begins.
  • I just went by it and couldn't see anything of note, but it was dark and snowing, the CSO equipment also blocked the view. I may be by there again tomorrow, in the daytime.
  • That looks interesting. It's nice to see a second rendering confirm that there will be a walkway to the black mirror glass wing of the hospital. I really hope that they follow through with remodling the entire length of the building where the old lo…
  • I seen a piece of equipment today next to the construction trailer at the rear of the lot today, once again away from the CSO stuff. It may have been a pavement scraper or something. Also, when by there later I noticed another, larger piece of equip…
  • My dad said that he heard the State is in talks with the Boji's about adding those extra floors to Capitol View. He said he doesn't know which department would use the space, he assumes that the state may want to move the remainder of the dept of co…
  • One of many GM stories in todays business section of the LSJ:What will General Motors do with all of that extra land?

  • I haven't seen it, but I'm actually a bit dissapointed that it was rennovated. I would of rather seen the building remain empty until redevelopment was possible. I would really like to see as many of the one story downtown buildings done away with a…
  • Found this article: Mayor Crego deserves better legacy Seems to me that people are a little to paranoid about the pollution in this park. There are other sites more polluted that people live near or work at, I see no practical reason why the park…
  • Yeah, Crego's the one I was talking about, it was a contaminated site (I think a gravel pit turned park, that was found to be contaminated later). It has been clean for years now, I'm not sure how long, maybe even before I was born. Reopening the pa…
  • I have no clue, it lists no building address, has no pictures and has no building data. I'm not familiar enough with EL streets to know if the boundries are right.
  • Check out these great downtown night shots from Bean Squared on Flickr. Check out more here
  • Thats what I was wondering, I was through Scott woods in mid-June and it was still the same old trail, I really don't know how they would have connected it to the main Rivertrail. It has me sort of intrigued to see exactly what they did. I do know t…
