It's pretty awesome to see such development progress since the last time I logged in. I wonder how the new theater will affect the existing Goodrich theater. I'd hate to see one open just to close down the other. I've noticed the expanding parkin…

I'm actually intimately involved with Hawk Island snowpark. I debated posting about it here but didn't know if you folks would be interested. It's been an un-advertised development until only recently. We're set to open it up on December 17th. …

If this goes through, I'm hoping it's gaming only and no dining. Casinos in general will suck in traffic but those people aren't spending money anywhere but inside the casino. Their restaurants, their games, their entertainment..

This is about past development but the LSJ has an interesting interactive map showing old homes and neighborhoods that were cleared to make way for 496 along with comparable census data then and now. http://www.lansingstatejournal.com/apps/pbcs.d…

Great idea, I'm going to love this thread. Hopefully others have contributions as well.

What an excellent article. The City Pulse really knows how to capture the heart and soul behind developments like these. Thanks for the link.

I'm surprised at the affordability, because it's in a ren. zone the tax savings is ridiculous. If I knew I could move my house easily, I'd really consider buying in.

Fortunate sure, I wouldn't use the word lucky. There's a market in the city for higher end urban living as evidenced by the great success the other lofts and condos are seeing filling up. I keep hearing about 'the economy' but frankly, outside of…

ooh, that's nice. I'm still wishing for the 20 story version.
