A project to separate storm and sanitary sewers in and around the Frandor area with considerable publicly visible infrastructure, built partially in conjunction with the Red Cedar project. It includes a 20+ acre park with over a mile of new river trail south of the Red Cedar development along the Red Cedar River in addition to a series of ponds, trails, water features and an improved sledding hill at the existing Ranney Park. Other (above-ground) work includes rain gardens and water features throughout the Frandor commercial area, Michigan Ave medians and Red Cedar development

In late 2019 a developer proposed a 52 unit three floor apartment building at the northeast corner of Cherry and E St Joseph streets. The developer had no construction timeline at the time of announcing their plans other than saying that construction was not imminent, they appear to still own the properties the new building would sit on as of May 2024. There were no media reports at the time.

This 10-floor 168 unit apartment complex would be built on the east side of N Grand River on the north bank of the river.
