I only remember that is was always there and it must have been nothing too remarkable. I would look for pictures of the State Theater that might include the building which was next door. I asked on the other page and yup they finally did it! Yea!

I do not know it there is enough room at these four corner intersections, and I know it's all "euro" and all but traffic circles or rotary's slow but generally do not stop traffic and are much safer for pedestrians and bikes. People live on streets …

I noticed the new Clock Tower on the LCC campus is nearing completion. They have yet to install the clock faces, but so far it looks really nice and is a great improvement over the smoke stack/guard tower that was there for so long.

I have a good tree story for once! They have planted new trees in the empty spaces downtown along Kalamazoo Street by the Library and Cooley. That is the first time I have had good news regarding our trees. Yea!

I really think in may be time to think about slowing down the traffic on our downtown cross streets. How much longer would it take to get across town if the speed limit was lowered? Our corners should not be dangerous.

I think these developers should be building some services for what will soon be even more people living downtown. Maybe they could get someone like Horrocks to run the city market and fill they place with merchandise and people.
