Here's some sprawl shots I took the other day. Oh did I saw sprawl? I meant walkable development... of a former christmas tree farm. See, it's walkable. These signs are all over the surrounding parking lots: A sidewalk! It must be wa…

You're discription of me being an out-of-towner is right, but it's strange to hear that label applied to me. I feel I know Lansing alittle better then some tourist who comes to see the capital building, or maybe visit the zoo. I admit there is a lot…

Very cool, I had never seen the fish ladder before.

Ha, I said the same thing about the AC unit on my Flickr page. I hate seeing beautiful historic buildings with tacky AC units in the worst places. @ Jared, here is a better picture of this face. Hopefully you won't have any nightmares about it

The completed Chemistry addition for anyone who has not yet seen it.

Yes, I took hundreds, but there are probably only about 50 or so that are any good. You can just see the turrets from Albert Place Condos sticking up over the blockbuster building.

My favorite book shop

I don't think 5/3 new colors fit this building at all. Their old signs would probably blend in better.

I guess not much has changed since the last photo was posted several months ago, except for the addition of the Jimmy Johns signage

I was going to ask about the pace of construction but I see it's already been covered.

I know it's photographed a lot, but I like this building so here it is again: And here is one of the Lewis Cass Building

Here is a better look at a banner on the opposite side of the street.

Here is a picture similar to the two LMich posted with and without the stack. Except this one now also shows the sign is gone.

Looking a lot more substantial then it did last I saw it two months ago. I wanted to get more pictures but by the time I finally got near the building my battery was dead.

Some photos from yesterday: My only complaint about this building is the windows on the corner are just too small. They don't fit in.
