In having sold many of the homes in the historical neighborhoods of East Lansing a few years back, they can be specific as to what you can and can't do. But the burden does seem to lay on their owner to be knowledgeable and financially capable of a…

I agree, rode my bike right up on it, before I realized it was the new parking garage. Bravo, it's about time for more! I am one of those people who can tell you where everything is! ;)

hood, the renderings do look sweet, the homes inside are really cool also, but as a former residential Realtor, the comments of my clients were that they were not thrilled with the mixed use concept, proximity to student apartments, and the teeny si…

Jared and mindbender, your comments make sense, they can't truly replicate what the original buildings look like. Mindbender, every building on campus will eventually show you their subtle differences, and yes, keeping the museum more easily access…

economics1, search under East Lansing, they popped right up.

economics1, thanks, I thought there was some process. Here is the link http://www.flickr.com/photos/11445604@N08/ I searched as well, and did not see them. Renamed them, Gaslight Village, East Lansing. Will work further to figure out the terminol…

cliffordzang, from the real estate community I had heard it will be a Marriott, or JW Marriott going in at the Trowbridge area.
-
If that's their purpose, I have no doubt they will succeed!

economics1, there are two photos from a half an hour ago now on www.flickr.com. I must admit, it wasn't obvious to post the link, they are both named Gaslight Village, I don't have time to figure this out while at work! Please feel free to add the…

I will get a picture today of this deserted looking development. Grand Opening banners out front, there has not been any vehicles in the parking lot for weeks, other than an optimistic Realtor who plants their open house arrows out occasionally. V…

Please educate the ignorant (me), why are all the designs so overboard and strange looking when the northern side of the university, and all our new construction is more classic and red brick? I understand that it will be associated with a museum, …

Driving by it every day, it is still not complete. They blew it by mailing out hundreds of invitations for the grand opening, and then had to cancel it. Occasionally I see Open Today signs, but it doesn't appear to be completed as of yet.

Thanks, I have identified Lot#1 and will see what happens with the City in regards to actually selling it.
-
Jared what else do you know of Lot #1? And is the outlined lot in the photo above from Freedom Fries (love the name) indicating Lot #1?

Please share any pictures of the Red Cedar River on campus. Or any of the old ivy covered dorms. Thanks!

Yeah, what's up with adding roundabouts on Lake Lansing Road? They took them off of campus, the one in Okemos people still don't know how to "handle", and with pedestrians it seems like "Bad Idea Jeans". Is East Lansing planning on a huge populati…

I read somewhere in all the discussions, something about the area near Hagadorn/Mt. Hope being developed into something called "The Hamptons", have you any further information on that project?
-
Please let me know when you hear of the demolition occurring!
-
Jared, do you have any current updates on The Museum Place, or pictures/renderings? Thanks!
