They seemed to be erecting railings on top of the 6th floor today. Not sure what that means, perhaps work "internal" work to do on that level before going up further.

[This does say some sort of vote was expected yesterday](http://wlns.com/2016/07/19/meridian-township-hears-from-public-on-cata-brt-plan/).

Any link on that?

I was at the FLRT meeting - they mentioned that probably next year, across the trail system generally, they are expecting to do 11-12 miles of trail asphalt work, replace 11ish bridges and do repair work on about that many more. Quite a bit of work…

I was going to say - why not make them two-lane roads? I feel like that sort of design so close to downtown is a leftover from the (OK, still quite prevalent) mentality that the only thing we need to consider when designing roads is how many cars w…

Walking around the Lugnuts stadium last game I was struck that, especially if you're in the NW corner of the ballpark, the new developments do make the environ feel a lot more urban.

Getting brick today.

My thoughts exactly hood, though I didn't want to say them! Hopefully an establishment moves in whose quality matches that of the space it inhabits.

Several people on HGSL Facebook claiming Clara's in Lansing is closing.

I had no idea that thing at the Shiawassee Street Bridge was even supposed to be a fountain. I was looking for a spot to hold class outside about a year ago, happened upon that spot, and found broken glass everywhere - needless to say we went somew…

Although quite low (about 3 feet deep) is still moving 500 cubic feet of water per second. Still a river.
