It was on their construction website as if the work has already started, so I don't know.

Just FYI, DBI is going to be rehabbing their building at 912 E Michigan. They have a rendering in the EDC's window, and the building permit was listed in todays LSJ, the most significant change is that there will be windows on the third floor.

If the cab company is holding out the city could use eminent domain, since their property is wanted for the new city lot, not the development itself. I doubt that will happen though, it would be horrible PR.

MSUFCU built such a nice building, in such a horrible location. They could of built downtown Lansing or East Lansing, it would of made for a pretty good sized building.

The story behind Urbandale is that many houses were destroyed by floods, it was much denser, and in better shape. I think the 70's flood really doomed the area, the freeways in that area act as levee's.

Whatever goes on that lot adjacent to there needs to be of significant height, at least 15 floors. I had always hoped to see that Walter-Neller building tore down to make way for another high-rise.
