Its on the south side of Michigan, I think the first building west of the train tracks. I'm still not clear if they are adding a second floor to just the one storefront or to more than that one. Here's a pic of the building from the assessors site:

If thats the case then Lansing should offer some really good deal to get Auto Owners to move downtown. Maybe a free piece of city owned downtown land and some tax abtements, I think it would be worth a shot at least.

I doubt this will effect their new HQ in Dewitt. However this will be nice to see because of the 80 high-paying jobs.

This development will probably be spread out in quite a few phases. It's going to be really, really hard to get a grasp on what this project will look like completed until it is actually completed.

The rendering looks pretty good, although I'd rather see them leave the S Grand Ramp as-is, so that it can be tore down for another development in the near future.

I shop and eat downtown when I can, when I get the money I plan to move downtown, and I just got a new job downtown, so I consider that a decent track record.
