Apparently Gillespie owns the Goodyear Tire building on Michigan and is looking to develop it. 1309 E Michigan It's looking like there is going to be a ton of development on Michigan Ave. between Lansing and East Lansing over the next few years, …

A rendering of DTN's 300 Grand River project was included in their City Center 2 proposal. This is the project that they're tearing the Bigby down for and includes the land that was supposed to be part the west village project. The building will be …

I was by Knapps last week and they had most of the windows in. They looked really nice, I'm not sure if they're glass block or if they just look like it. At the very least it's a promising sign for the quality of the renovation.

I'm pretty sure that site plan is older, I posted the same site plan in this thread on March 19, 2011. I certainly hope that they don't plan on building an office building like that there.

I think it will use the existing line, at least mostly. However, they added on 120k sq ft to accommodate the much lower production ats. For the Camaro they'll probably add a 3rd shift and need at least a few hundred thousand square feet of new space…

I would think that site work, especially any environmental work would need to begin very soon for production to begin in 2-3 years. I'm assuming that a moderate expansion will be needed for this and I would think it will be towards MLK. At 70k units…

I don't think it's too bad of an idea for the city to own a garage in this area as long as it actually operates as public garage. The Ingham County Courts would likely make use of some of the extra parking, it may also be able serve some future buil…

I was by Niowave today and they are building an addition on the Seymour St side of the property, they already have footings in and it looks like it's going to be a pretty decent size building. I'm still not sure what type of building it is that they…

Developer plans $6.8M housing deal in Lansing I'm not very excited about the design on these, it looks like a generic apartment building with a little extra brick.

This is interesting, but lacking in details: Niowave to break ground on $10M expansion, adds 10 jobs I assume this will be an addition to their current building, but the article doesn't say. Hopefully this is just the beginning got Niowave.

I wouldn't care if it's just the house, but they can't be allowed to tear down the townhouse building. It's one of the only buildings of its type in the area.

I think it is 99' 4" to the penthouse roof, and the overall height is 107.' You can see the larger version of the elevation on page 171 of the April 3rd meeting packet. (pdf download)

Ann elevation of the Ann St apartments from the council packet: The packet also mentioned a redevelopment proposal for 514 Michigan Ave. I found this on the project "A public hearing will be held to consider an application from Wolf River Dev…

Yeah, I noticed that too. I have no idea what's going on, it would be nice to know though.

A company is planning on building two new assisted living facilities in the Lansing Area. One in Meridian Township off Central Park Dr. and one at Coleman and Coolidge in East Lansing: Trilogy Health to bring 200 jobs with new facilities totaling $1…

It looks like this project is being resurrected again, this time by Scott Gillespie: Ottawa Butler is back … again There's not many details right now and from what I can tell he's pretty early in the planing process, but I'd just be happy to fina…

I very glad to see this. It looks like the project may be moving forward for real this time.
