Troppo progress as of today:

But maybe this is the kind of off-the-wall project needed to jump-start the area. If this is designed well and everything is maintained it ought to be great for the area, they can begin to draw people making mixed use projects an easier sell. Als…

Lansing's Minister of Urban Renewal Apparently the owner of the 711 E Kalamazoo St property wants to turn the land into a sculpture park. It sounds like a pretty neat idea.

I think Ferguson buying the North Capitol ramp is still a possibility. I thought I seen it mentioned in another article within the last week or two.

It's nice to see and hear about some concepts, even if they are just concepts. The Knapps Building: What If? This one's not really a big surprise, but it's good news none the less. Wharton ranks among best in world in ticket sales

I noticed that on my way to school today. I'm very glad to see this wasn't just talk.

It would seem to me that with all these tenants lined up this project would be a slam dunk, any problems are likely with the developer.

It sucks, but I sort of expected a stalemate. I just hope demand reaches a point where their forced to compromise, because that's probably what its going to take.

It ought to be interesting to see how this one unfolds. I wonder when we'll see some plans for the site?

I agree it's far too early to pass any judgement on this. If they don't move the Library though, there won't be enough space to do much of anything, except with the 5th floor office space. I'm torn on what to do, there are so many potential uses, ma…
