This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I'd rather the greenspace remain than see the planned development happen. It's so uninspiring.

I've never been to their EL location. I'm a southsider, so I'm stoked for this- especially if they have food service.

Ellison Brewery in REO Town is targeting Spring 2021 for their opening. https://www.lansingstatejournal.com/story/news/local/2020/10/20/ellison-brewer-spirits-reo-town-spring-2021/5935139002/ MERIDIAN TWP. – Ellison Brewery and Spirits' second …

That would have been an abomination. The image is "scheme C" or "scheme D" (it's hard to tell) and there's more pics of that and other proposed designs here; https://photos.metrotimes.com/michigan-state-capitol-redesign-never/?slide=8&scheme-c-e…

There are normally a small herd of deer along Pleasant Grove just north of Holmes. I'm in Churchill Downs and about halfway into our lockdown about 15-20 deer came running down Churchill Ave and into the neighborhood, it was surreal. This year I'…

I absolutely love this, not only for COVID but in general. I specifically choose places with outdoor seating from spring-fall, which means I have a short rotation list of places.

Awesome news. Pay isn't great at $13-$14 but it's better than no job. Love that the vacant building will be utilized.

Not Grand Tower, I'm about a half a mile west of Grand Ave on the SW edge of downtown.

Dymaxion is one of the firms that makes up Urban Systems

Horrible quality, but this is what I see from downtown.
-
I can actually see it from my office downtown Lansing

It's weird, because this block would be the one block where a full sidewalk would make much sense, but the full sidewalks don't start until a block west and a block east where they are less needed. lol Just Lansing Township things.

I agree, it's pretty striking in this area.

Elevator towers going in.

They're doing great work with that lot, I appreciate it as a southsider. I keep meaning to post picture updates but the townhome project on Holmes has been going steady. All three buildings look dried in now, but they haven't started the exterior fi…
