This is great news! I had been thinking that the city had given up on the fountain. I hope they are also planning to maintain the grounds as well. Maybe the mayor will stop putting ugly little used features in the park now that the fountain will be working. I would also like to see a little more attention given to Durant Park, the garden circle in that park is overgrown with weeds and is surrounded by some rather ugly sculptures. Has there been any use of the also rather ugly stage they put up in that formal park.
