I found this on Google's cache. The work you're seeing is probably the work for this bid (apologies for the large image):

There will be a meeting tonight to discuss a pre-development agreement on City Center 2. The meeting won't be televised (I'm not sure why) but will be open to the public. If approved, the pre-development agreement would allow for a 60-day “due dil…

I'm not sure that you'll find the picture on this site but Kevin Forsyth has put together a good website with historical photos of East Lansing: http://kevinforsyth.net/ELMI/

There are many sites online, such as imgur.com, that you can upload the image to and then give a link to it on this forum. It would be great to see it

Here is a link to a flythrough video of the casino. The video shows that the casino would start at Michigan Ave and have the same depth as Cooley Law School Stadium. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kVKcRyxV7tQ

There could be effective legislation that requires developers to pay for any infrastructure improvements and to only qualify for tax abatements if developing on an already established mass-transit route.

Thanks for the rendering Freedom Fries. I don't think I've seen that version before. It looks like they are changing the color of the building at the same height that the parking garage reaches.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Well until public transportation at Eastwood gets better, I can't imagine that many MSU students who will want to live there. It is very hard to take a bus or ride a bike from Eastwood to Michigan State. For these new developments to succeed, the…

Michigan State has released a draft of their 2011 Campus Master Plan. They have a website and a PDF online. I haven't gotten a chance to read through it yet to see what goodies are in store

The City Council has OK'd a $5.9 million federal loan for the project. Internal demolition could start this winter, Eyde officials have said, with construction tentatively slated for next summer. Work could be done by the end of 2013 or early 2014…

A new urban snow park is coming to Hawk Island. I took some pictures today of the new snow hill that is being constructed towards the back of the park near the dog park.

I took some pictures today. It was pretty gloomy out, but these should give a frame of reference for the size of the project.

That is great news! I'm not sure why the project seems to be moving so slow though, I guess it's probably due to the speed of getting financing for a project this large.

MSU is planning on tearing down the parking garage between Bessey Hall and the Computer Center and using the land as green-space (I'm not sure when), as well as demolishing Spartan Village Apartments by 2017. There are also a few more notes about so…

I'll try to grab pictures around Thanksgiving but it would be cool if someone could take some pictures before then.

I realize there are two buildings, but this looks different than the original renderings for the four-story one. I remember the original rendering showing like a pastel-colored stucco building, and it was shown from one of it's narrow ends. I was un…

I'm still trying to understand the orientation of the building in the rendering. Any ideas?
