In East Lansing there is a house that is split right in half by a tree. The entire house is crushed. Also, on Harrison Road by Lake Lansing, Harrison is shut off due to two telephone poles that are laying across the street.

I think I went by there a week ago or so and saw a sign on the site that said that it had been sold already. I wonder if maybe a listing you were looking at hadn't been updated yet, or I might have been seeing things.

Yep, the Residence Inn is still moving forward. I believe there was a hearing on it at Tuesday's council meeting, but I haven't looked yet to see what came about from it.

The row houses along hillcrest have a cement retaining wall about ten feet in front of their door. It looks kind of weird if you ever have a chance to go by.

Thanks for the photos, there really are a lot of "turret" looking things at the top of the building. It makes for a more interesting roof than the next door Stonehouse Village 1.
