I've been invited to speak at meetings about the website and different projects going on in the Lansing area, so mindbender's guess just may be true.

Thanks hood, I've added the link to it on the Project Pages. For anybody who would like to see some general information about the project, click on Project Pages at the top of the site, and you should see links to different projects happening in th…

Hood you beat me to the punch!

hood, There are plans to continue to develop this area, as I believe it's either DTN or another major property management company that has bought up all the other homes on these blocks for redevelopment. I believe they've also passed the necessary …

Has anybody gotten any pictures of the Hollister building lately? I went downtown last week, but I managed to miss seeing the building.

This is a huge development. It would be nice to see some regional cooperation among these counties to stop these sprawl developments. The infrastructure is not there for this, and the traffic will continue to get worse as people commute from furth…

Welcome Lansingborn. It is good that you and Concerned are bringing these topics to the forum. I think we all appreciate the conversation. I do hope that we (Lansing) can be self sufficient in the future, but our state is in need of being self …

Update: Christman has their Mutual building cordoned off by fences for the construction they will be doing.

Great news, and it should be LEED certified.

I like the look of the brick alot. It would have been nice to see some balconies wrap the corners or at least on the sides though. I also like the style of the "Stadium" sign on the front, it looks like an old theater sign.

I've been on here before when there are 25 guests visiting. It would be nice if some of the lurkers signed up and gave us their insight.

Point taken LMich.

Wow, I really laughed at your comment hood. The monument is well deserved and well needed, but it actually does look like something you would post bills on. There is a similar looking structure behind Ned's Bookstore/Panchero's on Grand River in…

Yeah, I was also picturing a John Hannah / Sparty esque statue. That's too bad. It looks like an old monument on Washington Sq. by the IBM building.
