I'd noticed that they had been working in that area recently. I think that they were maybe putting in sewers, if I remember right. Sounds like a good thing to me!

OK more info on the Charlotte development. The name of the project is going to be Charlotte Exchange. There are 10 suites available. The project website is at Alliance Commercial Group's website.

Not sure where else I'd post these, so I'll put them here. This is the redevelopment of the former K-Mart in Charlotte. I can't remember the developers right now, but I'll check the sign out front if I remember tomorrow. From what I've heard the ten…

Which warehouse is that? Is it the one on Kalamazoo by the tracks that burned last year?

I think that the City Market could actually thrive because of this. and other projects in the area. Imagine how many people will be living within walking distance if all these projects are completed. Get some additional vendors in, and people would …

Wow! I really hope this comes together.

This sounds very interesting. I'd like to see this happen. I would think that the city's garage would be moved to a less-commercial place now.

I love the area around Aurelius and Mt Hope. I think cemeteries are great and it's nice to see them finally fixing (really they are replacing) the fence for Mt Hope Cemetery. It was looking pretty bad. I live about a mile south of Potter Park and I …

I had forgotten about the football building being expanded.

I noticed how much more had been done this weekend. Driving north on Larch sure has a different look to it now. Going to be nice when it's done.

What I got from the article was that the current Main Library would become a Central Services Building for the system. A new Main Library and Impression 5 combination would be built elsewhere. I hope the expansion goes forward. I'd actually like to …

Lmich is right, the Cedar store is being built right next to Fazoli's. The Jolly store will be on the vacant land between McDonald's and the strip mall on the SW corner of the Jolly/Dunckel intersection. It will be interesting to see how they do h…

Work has started on the Tim Hortons on S Cedar and on W Jolly! Yummy!!!

Cool, I was just wondering since it had been so long without any action there.

It's just people complaining because they can. I really believe that if the same story had said that the new building was shot down they would have complained about the State not putting money into protecting its people, or whatever. Anyways, my who…

Has anyone heard anything else on the proposed new hotel to be built off Trowbridge and 496/127? I drove past there again today and there are no signs or anything.

Wow, I thought that Eaton and Clinton already helped fund the airport. I thought that's what the Capital Region Airport Authority was, but reading about it now I see that it's just Lansing and Ingham county. Pretty sad seeing that the entire airport…

Well I don't have a picture, but I noticed from 496 that the Sparrow name is now on the new addition. :-)
