What are the odds that if the entire block is developed that utilities will get buried? Being out in the Sacramento area for so long now, one thing that always strikes me when I go back to Lansing is how many utility poles and overhead wires there a…

I used to work at the Michigan Catholic Conference there across the street. Glad to see this area getting some attention.

I skipped class a few times too when you'd get two trains stopping on the tracks at the same time. There was no telling when it would free up.
-
Oh I definitely crawled through a few stopped trains in my day on Farm Ln. Young and stupid.

Or maybe it's just a Michigan left.

Looks like a new bus stop going in on Hagadorn in front of Hubbard.

I came down 127 yesterday, and like gbdinlansing said, the parking garage is looming large. It's a shame they couldn't have done something to dress it up a little.

Was in town for a couple of days and HOLY COW is this building big. It looks great, but it is in a whole other scale vs the rest of the area. Hopefully when the development across the street gets a little more traction it will look a little less c…

Folsom, CA here. Our house is just short of 1700sqft; 3bd 2bth; built in 1985. If we wanted to right now we could probably sell for $450K. Of course then we couldn't afford to buy anything else. It's nuts.

I don't have my profile set up to email me, so I'm not sure.

I don't know if anyone has said anything in a while, but thank you for all of this. I know it's basically just a labor of love, but I appreciate all the work you do to support this.

I'm sold. Lets do it.

What happens to Target if they kill this? Does Target seemingly onboard push the needle at all?

Yeah, I saw that. Giltner is one of those buildings that it would be a shame to lose it's presence on campus, but I had classes in there 15 years ago, and it wasn't in super shape then.

Looking further in the doc though, it seems like that's not part of the motorized vehicle planning.

Tearing down Ramp 2 and the Bessey extension would make a prime location for a new (larger) parking ramp, absorbing the lot behind the building there.

Having never really been involved in "Greek life" I have to admit I'm surprised that fraternities/sororities have the capital to pull off building something like this. It just seems like something from days long past to me. But, I guess I don't re…

I went their one time for a work lunch, but I didn't have to pay.

At the very least it would be nice if they'd tear down the buildings on Grand River. What a depressing entrance to the city.

I had to go look at this on Google Street View to see what you were talking about. Jeepers, that's terrible.
