A few updates from around town... With a few construction new projects getting going there should be more to show over the next few months.
Rotary Clubs new accessible playground & pier at Adado:
Stadium North's Cedar St building is topped out while the Larch & Erie building is just going above ground:
Neogen expansion:
Ranney Park construction is moving along. The structure (waterfalls/cascades???) at the north end of the park is taking shape, I'm very interested to see exactly what it ends up looking like. The south end of the park is starting to look a little better as plants take hold.
Red Cedar Hotels inching towards completion:
Msu to Lake Lansing trail construction, this is just east of Hagadorn next to the Community School of Music. It appears close to ready for paving.
MSU finished repaving a dilapidated section of river trail from Bogue to Hagadorn leading the Lk Lansing trail a couple weeks ago:
Multi cultural center's foundation construction is moving along:
Fencing up and site work just getting underway at the new IM building
Thank you, for the pictures, much easier than trying to catch a glimpse of the sites from the car. The Stadium North project seems to be going up very quickly. I had not been that way in a while, it is kind of surprising. At Ranny Park I seem to remember a plan for a water feature with people's faces spitting out water. Maybe this is that feature. There seems to more playgrounds than kids to play in them, maybe next the mayor will put a playground in front of City Hall.
A few pics along the soon to be paved phase II of the MSU-Lake Lansing Trail, heading from the end of Campus Hill to the entrance of Nancy Moore Park on Okemos Rd:
Land cleared for Haslett Village project with the American House senior apartments in the distance:
Wow so cool, it's like a picture of somewhere else, something so cool looking and beneficial for our water systems can't be in Lansing! I am happy that it is. Thanks for posting.
