I live on Albert, when we first moved up here, we could leave our patio door and windows open at night, but not really anymore due to the noise from the modified mufflers and motorcycles and many other sources of noise. The crowd noises seem not so bad compared exhaust pipes because it ends after two. Then the dumpsters emptying starts around four am. I can imagine what it must be like on W. Grand River and Michigan Ave in EL which has some beautiful homes with a couple are for sale. I would think the noise effects the price of those homes. It has become like the old days when they cruised "the gut" downtown on Washington Ave. for fun and to make noise. Maybe they should put sound gages in those camera parking enforcement posts. Perhaps tall natural green hedge fences could help cut the noise.
