I'm trying not to do a big change to the site with new forum software, but the next version of the software for this site is not a straightforward update.

I've got no other ideas. I do need to update the site but it's a large change and I'm worried about something breaking. The platform we're using isn't putting out updates as often anymore either :'-(

Yeah, your guess is as good as mine as to why they might not be acting like normal stickies. I think the approach to unsticky and then re-stickying sounds good. I'm fine with making them stickied to see how it feels.

The Evergreen properties is one of the silliest boondoggles the city has taken part in. Not only have they lost tons of money on the properties, they will now pay for marketing where the marketer says that the potential bids will come from local dev…

It resets on the 2nd, so we should be good for this month but it really started to tick up a couple months ago. I spent a couple hours looking through the forum this morning to see if there was any recent posts that might have been the cause but cou…

I got a warning from the website hosting company that the bandwidth for the month is over the limit. It's at 104% of capacity right now. If it gets to 125% they will take the site offline for the rest of the month. I think we will need to stop hosti…

This is so cool. This park will really attract people towards Ranney and Frandor. Great to see how much more use the park will get compared to what it was like 10 years ago.

The city didn't want to pay a higher rate. Not that they didn't want to renew, they just wanted to cut a better deal. It's crazy

They will hold this property hostage for 2-3 years until the courts allow the development and waste everyone's time and money while doing so. East Lansing could be a lot better if their government didn't keep getting in the way. There are three…

Yes, and that need for "parking" of which they would be the leaseholder is a blatant conflict of interest.
-
Oh wow I didn't know that

It really is crazy how the planning commission blocked the Albert development. It's a conflict of interest that the city wasn't able to renew their lease so they retaliate and block the development plans.

Royal Oak passed ranked choice voting so we will get a chance to see how that unfolds in Michigan.
-
Wow that's awesome for Milwaukee. This will probably spur a lot of development there
-
Crazy, seems like so much money in that budget

Just checking now, I'm using 830mb of storage and have 419mb of available space on the hosting.

Awesome photos, thanks for taking a tour of the city for us! The Stadium North area could be really built up in the next 5 years.

I'd like a significant part of it turned into a park, perhaps a different style park than what is typically found in the area. It could be a multi-use park with covered basketball courts, a railway crossing into Holly Park, soccer fields, hills and…

This is such an amazing round-up of updates. Thank you for putting it together. Nice work and thanks for creating a stickied thread for it too.

No parking promotions that I've heard of. And still the ones that have existed for a long time require a retailer to stamp your parking ticket.
