Wow, that is nowhere close to Lansing Eastern. It would be nice if a public indoor pool could be built attached to Don Johnson Fieldhouse. I think East Lansing's swim team swims at McDonald Middle School at the corner of Burcham and Hagadorn (about 3/4 of a mile from the high school) because of issues with the pool at the highschool.
Well that's funny. There was a brief time when LCC swam at East Lansing HS if I'm not mistaken because of the demolition of our pool. Not sure where they swim now.
It looks like the apartment building pictured in the rendering of that Washington & St Joe office building is a real proposal after all: South Edge Lofts
If you're saying that the office and loft buildings are both part of this proposal, then yes that's what I gather also.
I still don't like the office building, neither in it's scale, location or design; at bare minimum it needs storefronts on the ground floor. I'm cautiously optimistic about this new loft building though, however I'll wait for more details and a clearer rendering to make too much of a judgement.
I'm very curious to see what they come up with for the Temple Building and when it will happen. I've heard good things about all their places so hopefully they'll continue to impress.

It's the building to the left in this rendering:

The LSJ has an article on this now also, complete with the outdated rendering: New mixed-use project set for S. Washington Ave
I'm going to go ahead and start a thread for this.
Love what these guys are doing for the Lansing food scene.
