Sprawl will be contagious as long as it's funded by the taxpayer through tax abatements.

The parking garage out in the boonies looks odd.

Friends who live in Reotown are buying houses in the area for re-sale in the coming renaissance of S. Washington. St. Vinnie's fire? Look for a restaurant to bloom from that site. All of the BWL workers will need services.

LSJ article on EL resident proposal to ban of eminent domain Looking at the plans by Strathmore, the proposed structures seem out of proportion with the surrounding community. Re-making collegetown into corporatetown may have its limits. This is…

Ugly. The only benefit I can see is that the Gaslight is near the Lake Lansing - Chandler/Abbott intersection. Chandler Rd. is not safe for pedestrians and the lack of proper sidewalks between the Water park and apartments/condos to the north is …

LSJ online comments vary widely, but they do seem to all center on bitching about lazy American workers (read: unions). Joel Ferguson bankrolls Michigan Democrats and the MSP contract is his reward. This is a time-honored tradition in politics am…

I drove by the other day was amazed at the progress. tI took a minute to get used to the new look of the street. This area will resemble Old Town in the "socio-economic" aspect - meaning high and low income living within a block of each other.
