At least it is not going to be a law office or a bank branch, not very exciting, it seems like this would be one of the few retail businesses that are expanding so it is good to have a major tenant rather than empty storefronts like some of the new Michigan Avenue developments.
Wow what a beautiful change. The old building facadehad those tiny windows. I wish they had never covered up the original building. But these news buildings with their brick fronts look great. Nice job, I wish the move-in wasn't during a global pandemic but I guess we take what we can get.
A very nice looking building, I like the brick all the to the top. It seems weird now to see the old ghost building that sat there for so long, I do not ever think "oh I miss that building" I am always so amazed by what has taken its place when driving past.
Passed by the Graduate Hotel yesterday. I was surprised the brick is a bit darker than I thought it was going to be. Not sure if that's good or bad since it's just a little so far, but it's definitely different.
Yeah, I've been watching it and I'm not sure how to feel about it yet, I'm sure it'll be decent at worst. I'm really interested how it comes together with all the windows, particularly the first couple floors of facade and the top floor.
This place looks really great, my sister is coming in from San Francisco and taking advantage of the $50 a night rate they offered us at The Newman! I will enjoy seeing the inside and the roof top bar.

They say they are shooting from an August 24th move-in date, which seems ambitious considering the shutdown.
